AccuGrit: Meet the Team, Zack Nash, Administration Assistant.

Business News | Gritting | Snow Clearing | 19 April

This month is a special Meet the Team as we are taking five minutes to introduce you to our new(ish) team member Zack Nash, and, at the same time, we have the pleasure of announcing that Zack, who joined us as part of the government Kickstarter scheme, has impressed us that much, he is joining team AccuGrit full time as our Administration Assistant.

In addition, over the next two years, with our full support, Zack will be working on gaining his Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship. During the course, Zack will learn how a Customer Practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality service to customers, delivered from the workplace, digitally, or by going out into the customer’s locality.

These may be one-off or routine contacts and include dealing with orders and payments, offering advice, guidance, support, meet and greet, sales, fixing problems, aftercare, service recovery, or gaining insight by measuring customer satisfaction. Phew!

So, before Zack starts his new challenge, we grabbed five minutes of his time to find out more about him.

Hi Zack, tell our followers why you enrolled on the Kickstarter Scheme?

I enrolled on the kickstart scheme because I found it quite hard to find a job, and I didn’t have much experience; I was looking for the best way to gain some job skills. So I thought the kickstart scheme was a good thing to do, and six months would be a reasonable amount of time to learn new things and develop my employability.

What has been the best part of the experience for you?

The best part has been learning new things and being in a good working environment, plus I have also gained much better computer skills.

What have you achieved through participating in the Kickstarter Scheme?

I have achieved a lot so far; when I first started working for AccuGrit I had no idea what to expect and didn’t understand winter maintenance or how it all worked.

So, I had quite a lot to learn, but now, with the things I have come to know, I feel much more confident in my work with a better understanding of my daily duties and tasks, plus I feel very much part of the team.

Finally, what are your hopes for the future?

My targets and goals for the future include expanding my knowledge and contributing to the business to assist the company with its growth strategy. Plus, of course, supporting our customers with excellent customer service.

We’ll be popping back to check how Zack is progressing soon, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
